Calm Redness Relief 1% BHA Lotion Exfoliant is a leave-on, sheer lightweight lotion with a texture that works to soothe redness and smooth away dry skin with skin-plumping hydration. Gentler than the 2% Liquid BHA

I've used this for over a month now. I don't find this formula moisturizing but it is a gentler alternative to the 2% liquid BHA, which was too harsh for me. I use it every few days as daily was too much for my sensitive skin, causing redness and hives. Skin feels smoother but not really helping with pores or breakouts, maybe I need to use it for a longer time to see some results.

Great alternative to the cult classic

I started with the cult classic 2% BHA liquid exfoliant, alas it was too harsh on my skin and I got an allergic reaction as a result. I was still determined on using an exfoliant and I decided to try this. This is the older version of the new one on the US website, they changed the formula slightly it seems because the ingredients seem to differ slightly, I haven't tried the newer formula but this worked well too. I've been slowly adding it into my routine after the previous incident and so far haven't gotten an adverse reaction. I didn't use to have sensitive skin but I guess it's slowly changed with age. I highly recommend this as an alternative if the regular version is too strong for you.
