What does this Paula’s Choice toner do?
Paula’s Choice RESIST Advanced Replenishing Toner refreshes and moisturizes skin after cleansing. It keeps skin soft, smooth and youthful looking with a plumping blend of hyaluronic acid, fatty acids and antioxidants.
Do I need to use a toner?
Toners can be a great after-cleansing step to rehydrate skin and ensure you’ve removed all traces of makeup. This well-formulated toner benefits skin by soothing, visibly reducing redness and hydrating. Not to mention, this toner is another leave-on source for antioxidants and other anti-aging ingredients that improve skin’s overall health.
Which Paula’s Choice toner for dry skin should I use?
RESIST Advanced Replenishing Toner is a great option if you have normal to dry or very dry skin with signs of aging, although we do carry a few other toners for dry skin that you can explore.
What makes this a good toner for aging skin?
This toner contains many skin-restoring ingredients, antioxidants and replenishing omega fatty acids, all of which preserve skin’s barrier and soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Should you apply toner with your hands or cotton pads?
You can apply toner with cotton pads or your hands; it’s all about personal preference.
Is toning the same as exfoliating?
Toning and exfoliating are not the same thing. Toners and exfoliants are two different types of products, so you should apply toner first for hydrating benefits, then exfoliate after to slough off dead skin cells.
What is the pH of Paula’s Choice RESIST Advanced Replenishing Toner?
The pH of this toner is between 5-6.
Is this Paula’s Choice toner alcohol free?
Yes, Paula’s Choice Advanced Replenishing Toner is alcohol-free. It does not contain denatured alcohol or other alcohols that may cause dryness or irritation.
Does this toner contain enough hyaluronic acid to replace my other hyaluronic acid products?
There’s no such thing as too much hyaluronic acid! Layer away with this toner, it’s meant to complement other hyaluronic acid products for an added boost of hydration.
Is this toner good for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
This toner is good for sensitive skin and for normal to dry acne-prone skin. It’s a perfect addition to an anti-acne routine to add lightweight hydration that won’t clog pores. If you have oily or combination skin, we recommend trying one of our toners for oily skin instead.
Does this toner have fragrance?
Like all Paula’s Choice toners, this is 100% fragrance-free and doesn’t include irritants like essential oils, citrus or menthol.

    Game changer

I love this toner so much. I have purchased it for the fourth time and use it every day under my moisturizer. It visibly plumps my skin, keeps me hydrated and evens my skin tone.

I have very sensitive combination skin and this has helped me balance dryness.

Have also already bought this as present for my friends because it’s so good.

    Hydrating toner!

Advanced replenishing toner is thicker than normal water however my skin drank it all up in an instant, leaving my skin hydrated without the stickiness. Super love the after feel! I travel very regularly, hence my skin is super parched after a flight. This is my new found holy grail!
