Clear Acne Body Spray 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) offers a convenient way to treat acne on the body (like back acne). Just spray on and let the formula go to work to provide clearer, blemish-free skin. The easy-to-use spray packaging can be held at any angle, even upside down, so you can cover those hard-to-reach areas.
This exfoliant has a pH range of 3.2–3.8.

All Paula’s Choice products are 100% fragrance free, clinically proven to be non-irritating, and never tested on animals.

Salicylic acid penetrates to eliminate bumps, pimples, and blackheads while soothing and calming reddened skin. There are no harsh ingredients that can cause more problems for your skin. It dries quickly and is gentle, non-irritating, and alcohol-free, which means skin won’t feel dry or tight. It is even suitable for skin prone to cystic acne.

Spray evenly over affected areas. Spray on and rub in with hands or applicator for hard-to-reach areas. Allow to dry, then follow with moisturizer if desired. Do not spray directly onto face.

Which BHA product is better for treating rough, bumpy skin: CLEAR Acne Body Spray or Weightless Body Treatment 2% BHA?
Both options are great for bumpy skin and even suitable for skin prone to keratosis pilaris because they contain 2% BHA, an ingredient that can visibly reduce bumps and clogged pores. CLEAR Acne Body Spray is great for getting those hard-to-reach breakout areas because its spray nozzle can work from any angle. Weightless Body Treatment with 2% BHA helps hydrate as it smooths.

What’s the difference between CLEAR Acne Body Spray and 2% BHA Liquid?
Both products have identical concentrations of salicylic acid. However, the body spray contains additional soothing ingredients designed to help reduce redness and sensitivity — two issues that are often more prominent when acne occurs from the neck down. Many people prefer the spray, as its water-light formula is better for larger areas where breakouts or bumps are a concern.

Can I use CLEAR Acne Body Spray on my face?
Yes, the ingredients in CLEAR Acne Body Spray are fine for facial use. We don't advise spraying it directly onto your face — instead, spray it into your palms first then lightly smooth over your face, avoiding the eye and mouth area.

How do you use acne spray?
Spray evenly over affected areas and rub in with hands or applicator for hard-to-reach areas. Allow to dry, then follow with a body lotion if desired.

Will this product bleach or stain my clothing?
When applied as directed, this product should not stain clothing or bed linens since it does not contain bleaching agents. Using this with a benzoyl peroxide product can have a bleaching effect on fabrics. In this case, we recommend waiting approximately 15 minutes for products to dry before dressing or bed linen contact.

Good Product

A very convenient spray bottle for people to spray on the back. Repeated order and really see the different after used.

Emergency cure for beach day, stronger sensations

Although this version and the body lotion version both have 2% BHA, this version causes a bit of a stinging sensation (in a good way!) I feel that it's stronger than that version and I will use it if I have occasions that require to bare more skin at least 1 week ahead. Easy application if you don't like to get your hands dirty.
