The electrolytes in this quenching formula work with natural hydrators to draw the right amount of moisture into skin and hold it there. A blend of natural antioxidants, ceramides, B vitamins and prebiotic sugars work throughout skin’s uppermost layers, optimizing its ability to stay moisturized over time.

All Paula’s Choice products are 100% fragrance free, clinically proven to be non-irritating, and never tested on animals.

Mineral electrolytes calcium, potassium, and magnesium are linked with skin-identical PCA (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, part of skin’s natural moisturizing factor), allowing them to work within skin’s water channels (aquaporins) to deliver vital hydrators like ceramides and glycerin. These enhanced minerals also train skin to maintain its moisture balance, strengthen its barrier, and create a healthier, more energized appearance.

Once or twice daily, apply a small amount to face and neck. For daytime, always follow with a sunscreen.

Who is Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer best for?

The Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer is for all skin types, but it’s ideal if you’re dealing with dullness or dehydration and don’t like the feel of rich, creamy moisturizers. Its whipped, airy texture is like a burst of hydration for thirsty skin. It instantly replenishes skin’s water content above and below its surface with a completely weightless feel.

Is Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer good for sensitive skin?

Yes, the Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer is good for sensitive skin. It’s gentle, fragrance-free and even suitable for skin that’s prone to rosacea.

Is Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer good for acne-prone skin?

Yes, the Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer is suitable for acne-prone skin when used alongside anti-acne products.

Can Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer be used around the eye area?

Yes, like other Paula’s Choice moisturizers, the Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer can be used around your eye area. If you have particularly dry skin around your eyes, try a thicker, richer moisturizer instead.

How is Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer different from your other moisturizers?

The primary differences between the Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer and our other moisturizers are the electrolytes it’s made with. These unique ingredients are a key to balancing dehydrated skin and offer a light, sensorial texture that’s still super hydrating. On application, this formula transforms into a burst of water that’s great for all skin types. As with all Paula's Choice moisturizers, this formula includes other beneficial ingredients including ceramides, algae and pollution-neutralizing antioxidants.

Is Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer an oil-free product?

Yes, Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer is oil-free.

What are electrolytes?

Electrolytes are minerals that are key to maintaining many of the body’s proper functions. Specific to skin care, the three most commonly used are potassium PCA, magnesium PCA and calcium PCA, each offering overlapping and unique benefits for helping keep skin feeling and looking healthy.

Do electrolytes help your skin?

Yes, applying electrolytes to skin helps keep it balanced, resulting in smoother, more hydrated and comfortable skin. Potassium PCA helps facilitate water pathways within skin, ensuring balanced hydration levels and plays a role in reinforcing skin’s barrier. Magnesium PCA also helps enhance hydration levels and visibly repairs skin, while also positively influencing how skin cells move through skin’s surface layers, how they shed and how skin responds to external stimuli. Calcium PCA influences how new skin cells are formed and how they move from the lower layer (dermis) to the surface (epidermis). It also helps replenish skin’s barrier and works as a humectant to draw and hold moisture in skin’s upper most layers.

Do electrolytes help acne?

Topical electrolytes don’t have anti-acne benefits, but when used alongside anti-acne products they can help address dryness or dehydration that come along with acne.

Can low electrolytes cause dry skin?

An imbalance of electrolytes can affect regular skin function and show up with easy-to-spot symptoms like dry, dehydrated or stressed skin. Consuming electrolyte-rich foods—think dairy, fruit, nuts and seeds—is important and applying electrolyte-rich skin care can further help improve water absorption and retention.

Pls restock more
This is clearly a crowd favorite. Esp for many who have oily skin for those living in Singapore. My only wish is for them to restock this more regularly as it's often sold out during sales period and I can't get them as often as I wish to :/

Great for oily acne-prone skin
Moisturizers usually make my skin extra oily and cause breakouts, but this one does not.
It has a great texture and it's easy to apply. My skin feels hydrated, yet has a matte finish. Will definitely re-purchase.
